FIELD NOTES / TOPIC

Screenshots, in practice.

Read focused screenshots articles and connect the ideas to the rest of your tools API workflow.

A screenshot is evidence of a particular state, not proof that every part of a workflow succeeded. Choose the capture scope and readiness condition according to the review question. The useful artifact includes enough context to explain what was captured and why.

These articles cover repeatable visual outputs and their place in browser work. Keep the environment and intended page visible, separate meaningful differences from noise, and attach a run identity when the image belongs to an automated process. Before sharing evidence, remove private or irrelevant content and decide how long the original needs to be kept. Review question: Which specific decision does this image support, and does its recorded context distinguish the intended page from a plausible but incorrect state?
